The racing in F1 over the past three season's leaves nothing to complain about. It's been competative down to the end of the season and will be again this year. I realize many were quick to give Button the championship but, he has plenty of work to do to fend off his teammate and Red Bull. McLaren and Ferrari are poised to start taking some points away. It's alway's interesting to see the directions individual teams take each season.

Hope Schumi Gets Another Chance at Spa
Since Bernie cancelled Spa twice while Michael was still an active driver, robbing him of the chance for additional wins at the greatest track on the planet.
Also, it would be great to see him come back and prove he's still the all-time greatest F1 driver (yes, ahead of Saint Senna)...

He and Senna were very different in their styles. Senna much more emotional and Schumacher seeming to be much more calculating and the ability to build the team around him aside from the driving duties. Both absolutely great. Watching Senna in passing situations was alway's spectacular.

Sorry, but Jim Clark in his Lotus 49 gets my vote for all time best F1 driver -- he was a VERY rare individual that could be competitive in any car and adapt his driving to optimize the car and setup he had.
Schumacher was/is very different -- he and Ross were about setup, design, and prep. Ross/Schumacher just needed a team with money and facilities, once that was secured the combo was impressive -- not taking anything away from Schumacher, but he will be the first to admit it was the combination, not just the driver. Jim Clark was all driver. Rob

Jim Clark was clearly one of the greatest of all time but he did drive some of the best cars of all time as well

The first half of the season was kind of boring on the track but the second half should be a lot more exciting now. I would love to see Shumi against Ham.

so has michael been putting laps in at fiorano? how about he likes the new cars and being back, misses the racing and heads on over to brawn to replace barrachello next year
![]() schumacher is a great driver but i have to agree that clark was better as a driver, schumacher was the best at building a team around him to produce a better race car. senna imo is somwhere in between

I haven't looked forward to anything like this since I was 15 years and 364 days old.

This has given F1 the potential to be excitement personified. It's like an F1 fantasy game! Now if only we could bring back Senna and Clark!

This seems to be a bit of a kick in the teeth to Marc Gene and Luca Badoer. I thought stepping into a car in a situation like this was one of the big reasons that teams had test drivers. But maybe since they don't have testing any more these guys have moved on.
