obviously Puegot did a great job - but I don't really see the payoff for them as a company

This was basically a three year, no limit effort to win a single race

They built a great team, hired good drivers and built an excellent purpose built racecar, but what comes next

Hey my '82 505 TurboDiesel clearly benefitted from their prior race efforts, 0-60 in about 25s (well that was after the turbo was gone) and skid pad of ~.6g (new). Can't think of one thing that worked on that car after 100k, except the engine, strangely still kind of liked it. Was great for tailgaters, just drop a gear and floor it, couldn't even see them in the rear view...
