Got any cool cars in cemetery photos?

The industrial photo session got me thinking about cemeteries as a backdrop for Lotus photography. I've always taken cemetery photos, but onyl here on EliseTalk have I seen the similar work of others. Here are a few favorites:

1987 Esprit Turbo (James Bond car from "For Your Eyes Only")
My personal all-time favorite composition:

A rare one with a human subject:

1997 Esprit V8 Twin Turbo:

And a couple NLC, too good not to include:

Feel free to share your favorites.

Pond. Kneeland Pond.

I don't know which is more beautiful, the turbo or the v8... Nice shots.

Love the Esprit. There is something really chilling about those cars...
I get goosebumps from the sight of them.

Hey, people put flowers there. Why not colorful cars?

I know I'd like to have future Lotus generations visit me if I were there.

My brother and I started the "cemetery photo" tradition because eventually you sell your beloved car, and they serve as sort of an R.I.P. for the vehicle.

Also cars look spooky cool in a graveyard, especially Esprits.

And a final shot of my 87 Turbo (Which the Elise reminds me of a lot from the driver's seat.)

Be on the lookout for my next fetish photo thread...you will not believe it!

Rich

PS: Not so sure my "happy" racing striped Elise will work very well in a graveyard.

I like it. They would look good in modern ruins also.
I think that graveyards are fascinating. Especially old ones.

OoooooOOOOooooooOOOOoo! hehe

"Cadavalier"

My old roommate inherited his grandmother's Cavalier.
He loved Harold & Maude.... and decided to have some fun

on one window he had a bumper sticker that said "Budget Burials"

Hey, this IS getting out of control. The whole point of "Sportscars in cemeteries" is the contrast of old and new. In the name of art.

A hearse is not out of place at all in a cemetery, although the "Cavalier hearse" is funny.

Skiddo, maybe you should repost your Elise cemetery shots to give these guys an idea of what we mean by "artistic".
