Only 333 of the GT Spyders are to be produced, very few to come with special paint jobs like this, making this a very rare car. This is the debut car, that debuted at Le Mans, after Audi won this year.

McLaren 12C Can-Am Edition Racing Concept at Monterey 2012.

Following the premiere of the one-off design study at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance earlier this summer, at an event ahead of the 2012 United States Grand Prix at the Circuit of the Americas, McLaren GT has confirmed plans for a limited production run of the track-focused 12C GT Can-Am Edition.

McLaren GT, the race car manufacturing arm of the McLaren Group, will produce no more than thirty examples of the 12C GT Can-Am Edition. Each will be fitted with an unrestricted version of the 3.8 liter twin-turbo V8 engine with a special engine calibration, and optimized cooling system to increase the power output of up to 630hp, making the 12C GT Can-Am Edition the most powerful 12C produced to date.

This time, the subject is the Lotus Festival that took place recently at British racing circuit, Brands Hatch. It’s an annual event that brings together both classic and contemporary Lotus models, from the factory and privately owned.

Here's the US-only Lotus Exige V6 Cup Racer. It’s a lighter, track-ready variant of the Lotus Exige S built for racers and enthusiasts. It features a 3.5 liter supercharged V6 engine producing up to 346hp while weighing 200 pounds less. Two model variants will be available; the Track Day version and the full-on Competition-spec. It’s the first time Lotus displayed the new model.
