New pictures of my Starlight Black Elise - LotusTalk

So I just got a Canon G10 as a birthday present for myself. It's basically a high-end point and shoot camera in the "prosumer" category.

I don't really know what I'm doing when it comes to photography so I just take a bunch of shots and keep the ones that look decent

Anyway, here we go:

and of course... one I took a LONG time ago that's still my favorite

great shots the G9/10 series from Canon is the perfect blend between DSLR and point and shoots

i recently ordered a Rebel for myself, since i already have out grown my point and shoot

There is a secret behind my base wheels

... they are painted with a $4 can of spray paint from Walmart

I did it on one wheel just to see what it would look like since I couldn't decide on a color. It ended up looking awesome (nearly factory) so I just did all four of them. Once it starts to wear off or look crappy I'll either just touch it up or bring it into the powder coater to have that color applied permanently

SharkDiver has seen it in person... it doesn't look like a spray can job at all IMO.

so, i thought i'd punch up the colors on your first pic, and add this raggedy border.

edit: forgot to mention, your (sprayed on) gunmetal colored wheels look very cool. good job.

darkside: Double sweet! I should have bought the CF roof from you... if you look in my pics my OEM hardtop doesn't fit properly and I still haven't gotten around to fixing it.
