I'd like to have that problem...
Seems like the cure or the regressor is lack of money. I'm still young...

My weekend toy a 1983 Bertone X1/9:
![]() ![]() My daily driver on and off for the last 12 years 1981 Fiat 124 Spider(except in real bad weather at which point my 97 Nissan truck comes out): ![]() Her daily driver 1990 Porsche 944S2 : ![]() Getting real close to the breaking point on ordering a 07 LB Elise Got a email from Gary Hagen (Who I got to meet briefly at the local dealer a few months back) about when I should place my order for a 07...counting the days and debating on if I am going to have to sell my X to make the Lotus dream a reality.

That is a beautiful X1/9!!! It brings back many fond memories. That was one of the best examples of a car that you just don't "get" unless you own one.

Shay2nak : Here is what I got from Gary "We have not allocated
orders for the '07 model year to the dealers yet. I am guessing at this date, it will be late September for the 2007 model arrival." Thanks on the nice words on the 944. Its my wifes 3ed 944 based car (924S, 944 TurboS, and now this S2). She wants a 968 but that comes after I get my Elise teekster: Thanks that car has been a labor of love for the last 3 years. Its my second X and your right untill you own one you just dont fully understand If you know a person that could give it a good home please PM me I am trying to find it a new owner without going to ebay. Its a 2 owner car that has had EVERYTHING replaced and too many NOS parts used to count. Tons more pics of it can be seen at http://gallery.italiancarclub.com/x19/c_laytons83x/.
