I had the honor of meeting Paul Cliff in person in London last week. We had lunch and enjoyed an exhibit of European photographers at the Barbican; even more terrific with Paul's commentary. I'm happy to say he's as great a guy as he is a photographer!

Best of all, Paul presented me with a stunning signed print, a Christmas present I'll never forget. I managed to get it safely home and am having it framed now.

I'm a very lucky boy!

Excellent set. I like these with the condensation on the car - gives it a nice texture and is congruent with the scene.

Funnily enough I was speaking with Paul yesterday, & he told me he had really enjoyed meeting you in London. As you say, he's a top guy in every respect

raining here again today and was bored this afternoon so i had a bit of a trawl on the net.

found a some of my pics on a blog, one as a banner, one on it's own and another with a poem, which is flattering i know, but i wish people would ask first. i mean, to me, it's just good manners.

[edit to add] - got a very nice and apologetic email from the blogger. his apology accepted and permission to use the images granted. no harm done.

also found a quote from somebody who said of my exige gallery ''Many of his shots are pretty ordinary to be honest.''

i must try harder, obviously.
