Wow, Paul, your recent stuff looks like Elises out of some mad surreal dream.

Especially #338. Looks like the Elise is trying to change into some surreal speeding animal. Love it!!

Great stuff from Mopho as well, the desert and bridge shots in #320 are great. And ChrisStarr, #303 WOW! Very nice!

I love this thread!! Wish I could take pictures... *sighs*

Hey skiddo,
I really loved your burn dodge lighting techniques..... I just got back from Vancouver and decided to give it a try with one of my pics (sorry no elise). Any tips?

it's an excellent shot and well executed - you just have to watch for the 'give-aways', the light line around the edge of the ball for example. looks really good and natural, tho well done.

Wow, the second picture is perfect. As for the first, I would want to see the lower fourth lightened in order to make out more details. ..But then again, it may take focus and attention away from the center.
Incredibly well done!

This is a very educating thread Do any of you pro's have any published works? Skiddo, I definitely think you should do a Lotus Elise Photo book, team up with a good writer to ad some interesting captions (or do it yourself), a good layout and good quality paper and I would definitely buy your book! Your photos would really shine, what do you think?

On another topic, how do you get around tough places to get good photos such as indoor shows? I was recently at a Classic Motor Show and although you can find very tasty machinery they are usually bunched up together, lined by ropes, lots of people and often poor lighting, etc.

Here’s one from a beautiful E-Type, got really close to avoid all of the above! PS: I just started snapping so I'm utter crap!

hey smog7

i haven't any new pictures i'm afraid, have been stretching my legs on tiny feathered things and it's incredibly difficult and time consuming.

i have had a rather beautiful A3 2008 calendar produced from 13 existing images. i have the first proof and am having 150 printed... dunno about cost and P&P as yet, but will look into it if people are interested in getting hold of a copy. will get some snaps of it up over weekend.

til then here is a pic of what i've been up to...

I want that calendar, too! Your pictures are amazing..

If not the calendar, would you considering selling the printed shots of the pictures?

thanks for the interest guys, still no word for mr chase...

feel a little rude posting the costs in this thread without permission as the site produces it's own calendar, don't want to upset anyone and all that...
