have a shoot scheduled for the 1st of june of what sounds to be something of a challenge... a supercharged type R elise painted by the guy who did pesky's exige... it's another 1 off, 22 coats of paint, here's hoping i can rise to the challenge...

shoot put back a week for the car to be amourfended, but saw it in the paintshop yesterday whilst having a couple of new rears fitted - it's an incredible colour by stephen m.

took a couple of quick test snaps to see how it was rendering on the chip...

inside the garage

and in direct sunlight - just look how under exposed the rest of the shot is! gives you some idea of the brightness and intensity of the colour!

roll on the 8th when i get a proper grip of it - watch this space!

Really really looking forward to this one, I never got round to giving an overview of the work involved in Pesky's Exige 2+ years back (sorry guys) but I promise I will do with this one (and a basic background on Peskys)

Skiddo's work is excellent and I will hopefully make the shoot in Manchester on the day to see how it goes

There was *even* more work in this one than with Peskys - and I said I would never do another after Rob's Exige lol, this has confirmed why I said that.

Did Andy Baileys Scandal one off Elise S1 ever get posted here???

had a great morning out with some of the northwest england lads this morning.

not had a proper chance to go through the pics, yet and the green is a tough to reproduce as i expected it to be - will try and get some up tomorrow, sorry.
