one week off from work
And I'm driving around the island again. The trades have cleared the air. I cruised out along Upper Road past Saddle to get a panoramic I've been wanting.
Maui is to the far left, middle height, behind the cloud line. The Kohala mountains provide the middle backdrop. As you move right along the picture, you are looking east. Waipio Valley sits way back to the east behind the hills - as does the source for all the clouds and rain. bored of these yet?
I decided to brave the wet east side this afternoon and head over to Laupehoehoe Point. Its one of the most awesome places to visit on the Big Island. I hope these pictures give a little glimmer. My goal is to catch a sunrise and full moonrise there one of these times. I wanted the full moon last night, but pouring miserable out. Sunrises are just a bit too early for me.
