Nice stripes, the car really does fit the description. Are you going to do black wheels? Don't like the wing however...

Who is going to be designing your custom headers, exhaust, intake, etc? Wonder how they match up some with of the stuff Shinoo is selling for both design and quality.

Thanks for posting.

Yellow wheels with a polished lip. As far as the wing I liked the low profile look of it compared to other wings on the market. It's one of those things that you either like or hate.

I'm having them custom fabricated for me. I will dyno the car next week to get the base power and I will dyno it after each upgrade. I will post dyno results and we will see the power gains.

I agree, yellow wheels would probably be too much. But you never asked me for my opinion!

Congrats on your Hornet! It certainly will stand out in a crowd of Elises.

Just my non solicited opinion coming from an artist, the only thing that really breaks up the continuity is the continued stripes around the Elise placard in the front. If it was me, and it is not, I would make the seats black with yellow stitching. It just seems to me that yellow wheels would take it over the bling top in a negative way. Staying with the more sting and less butterfly look.

thanks guys for all your inputs. I will call my wheel company and see if I can get the color changed to black. It might be too late since I placed the order about a month ago.

Since I did the stripes in vinyl I had some limitations such as going over the placard in the front. I took me a whole day to put the stripes on. Wow it's tough and I do this for a living.

That really looks great. I like what you've done, though I'm surprised that you painted the engine cover grills yellow instead of black. It would seem to have carried the stripe theme over better.

I like the two smaller stripes outlining the larger ones. Nice.

HA! Pretty cool! How did you get the yellow coloring on the instrumentation plastic cover? Or the black & yellow Lotus badge?

It's the same yellow film that was used on the lights. I used my car to design the base template and will offer the kits in both blue and yellow.

I also made a 3D domed yellow and black sticker and overlayed it on top of the factory badge.

Saw your car today at the garage or wherever as I was driving through LA... I was curious why I hadn't seen it on here... I figured anyone who put that much work into their car had to be an EliseTalker. Nice work!
