QBall - curious to know if Goodyear has tried to get you to pull this forum (bad press etc.) - not that I agree with doing that by any means, but I know insurance settlements can get nasty with unreasonable requests. Just an argument my husband and I had last night (ie/ they could scream libel/defamation etc vs. freedom of speech on the internet)

I have always heard good things about AutoStrada and my dealings with them (they did my first service) have been great. I even have an Autostrada shirt.

Update 12/4/06

Only one month later, we have come to a settlement agreement

Goodyear and their insurance were extremely coooperative and fair in their handling of my claim. Thank you Goodyear.

No where does it say that the car was dropped off a lift.

my apologies. that makes me sick. I would refuse anything but a new car. I worked for a man who had a minor accident in a mercedes, and due to the uncertainty of what it may have affected, the car was replaced. id talk to Your lawyer, but id take nothing less than a new car. You werent drivig a wrecked car before, You dont deserve to now. sorry again.
