Lotus Salvage Yards
Which salvage yards in the USA specialize in Lotus Elise/Exige cars? or at least have an inventory of them for parting out. There are clearly enough totaled cars around to have a stock pile somewhere. INFO?

There was one eBay seller called LotusRecycler(?), LotusSalvage(?) or something probably completely different than those, but their prices were always fairly steep for parts. They also had horrible communication, as in I never got an answer to any parts availability questions I asked.

I'm looking for an Exige S 240 roof. Thought I could get a significant "discount" off list from a salvage yeard.

I myself own a salvage yard in Atlanta, and 10 in the family in Atlanta. I have never seen a lotus within the fences of any junkyard in Atlanta. Good luck though on finding the parts, but salvage is a great way to go espically if you can go and put your hands on the parts before you buy them because half of the time there is always some minor blemish with body parts. FYI though i would think if u find a lotus in the salvage yard the hard top would b the hardest thing to find since the previous owner knows the value of the top and it's a pretty easy part to take off and restore in their possession and sell. It's like finding a needle in a hay stack.
