My Lotus days are over....

Going down a mountain side backwards... there's nothing like it.

I'll keep everyone posted if I have to part out some things.

Oh man.. sorry to see/hear.

I tend to avoid cruises/drives like these (for any car, not just the lotus), because all the ones I've been to involve people driving much faster than I feel is safe. I either clog up the line, or hang in the back and fall way behind, haha.

Sorry to hear, though. Glad you are safe. Would you consider another lotus, or are you moving onto other cool cars?

Glad to hear everyone's OK. Looks like you were lucky... that could have been much worse.

Any thoughts on why it happened? Or does the story in the video stand?

Sorry to see that. At least you hit from the back and you were OK.

Based on kestrel74's response, maybe CO should be Crash Orange - sorry about that, he left it out there. At that rate, I could say based on my experience that MB stands for Mucho Breako.

Again, sorry to see that.

Oh Man! sorry to hear about the accident. Glad the two of you are OK. That must have been scary as hell. I'm sure you're a little shell shocked right now. I'm hoping that when things settle down you'll realize that it didn't matter what car you were in and we see you in a new Lotus soon.

Wow, Mr. Toad's wild ride. Glad you and passenger are OK. These are amazingly tough little cars.

Can't give up on Lotus, you can try but you'll start jonesing. May I recommend St. Louis Motorsport and a cross country road trip? When we saw you on I-90 we were returning from picking up Lotus #2.

Glad to hear you and the passenger are ok. Must have been extremely scary to fly off a hill heading backwards.
