RIP Kent Rafferty

Not sure if this is the best subforum to post this.

We lost Kent Rafferty to a non-car incident. Kent was a renowned car guy and champion autocrosser, notably with a Supra and a Z-06. He and his wife also did some work with Lotus a couple years back.

Great guy. Great driver.

Rest in Peace Kent

Kent was actually divorced and engaged to be married again as the obituary posted states. He had a relationship of 4 years living with his future wife, Melissa. They had met at the track, and had raced together many times initially. Then when his Supra broke during a lap day, he had not returned to drive that car due to the damage. They continued to race the ZO6 he owned, then his fiance' owned, until he eventually got out of racing. In his last years, he had become focused on his family.

If you wish to contact his family you can email rememberingkentrafferty@yahoo.com or mgratta@mac.com. Also, there is a home phone number of (724) 861-9198 where he lived with his fiance' and precious poodle Harley. She is in close contact with his family and can convey any and all messages.

He was a great person full of love and happiness and will be remembered by all. Rest in Peace.

A site is being created in his memory and will be updated frequently:
In loving memory of Kent m. rafferty ?
