Speaking for all the LOONYs, our condolances go out to his family and friends.
We are all in the Lotus brotherhood so to speak. It hurts so much to lose one of our own.

I just communicated with Jeff the other day.

Wow....I am shocked by this.

Please, everyone drive safe.

Anyone who has met Jeff could see his unwavering passion for his car. I appreciated that.

This is absolutely tragic!

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Jeff's passing via text message. Mike, Ed & I met him recently on the way to the No Limits Motosport dyno day. He was very passionate about Lotus & took great pride in his Elise. Unfortunately, given the mods that I saw that day, the painted stripe combination, & the decedant's town, I fear that it was Jeff behind the wheel. May he RIP..... My heart felt condolences go out to his family.

I hung out with Jeff at LOG 26 and 27. He was a really nice guy and very passionate about Lotus. This is a big loss.

My condolences to his family.

If there is any kind of memorial fund set up, please post in this thread.

This is very sad- it always seem to become more real whenever I see a picture of the deceased. Making it even worse, before I read this thread, I saw his name listed in the birthday section today.

My thoughts are with his family.

I used to live a few miles from the crash scene... the speed limit on Rt. 110 is quite high (50-55mph, IIRC), and there are many left turn lanes without traffic signals. At this point, it would not be fair to anyone to assign blame... but one of the big differences between roads in NY and SoCal is that there are very few left turn lanes without left turn signals in my part of SoCal... and as a result, fewer collisions of this type.

The next to the last post he made was in the 'Accident...' thread - how bizarre. So tragic...Vaya con Dios Jeff.

That is true about RT-110. The speed limit is very high considering it has the same limit as the LIE and the Northern State Pkwy.

This is horrible news and I makes me very sad. I would be willing to bet he was cruising along around the speed limit-ish ,and the escalade suddenly made a sharp left right in front of him. It seems to be true about the police always blaming the sports car based on these last few accidents.

Wow. Just wow. I don't know what to say. Jeff and I hung our a lot at LOG26 in Dallas and we roomed together at LOG27 in Colorado. He even used my Exige for the track day. He was a true enthusiast.

My condolences go out to his loved ones.

just throwing this out there but it would be really cool if someone created a sticker or decal in memory of the four people that have passed on this board.

Just a thought... i know i would buy one and find a place for it on my car.RIP
