This is a reason to be careful what you post. Moderators have always been able to read deleted posts by the way.

Fishy to say the least,,,,,,,

True

But you will always know when a post is edited as it shows in the footer so there is no way for "covert" edits (and who could be bothered anyway )

no, i am unable to edit my original post in this thread.

i understand after 15 minutes a poster cannot edit his own thread if so why is this.

why has this change been made?
its a simple question that should have a simple answer.

My guess is to stop people from mass deleting their content, ie "taking their ball and going home".

Edit... OK, I just changed this....

Wait a little while (i.e. 15 minutes). Or better yet, search for any of your old posts...

No idea - that's why I moved it to the "Forum Feedback" section so it will be seen by admin. I'm sure a response will come - but you have to wait more than just a couple of hours

ok, yeah, edit button is gone. It's a vbulletin thing, my guess is that we are on a farm with all their other forums, and one setting got thrown as a matter of policy. I don't like it either though.

And even so... wtf..

So now instead of people being able to take their ball, which they purchased, inflated, broke in, painted pretty colors on, home... IT NOW BELONGS TO LOTUSTALK EVERYONE STEP THE F BACK.. ITS OUR BALL NOW, ALSO, GIVE US YOUR LUNCH MONEY.
