Hyperlink in signature - LotusTalk

I updated my very out of date signature today that had an old hyperlink to my paint protection film group buy, my website, and e-mail address. After editing I got the error messages that url links were not allowed or e-mail links.

I see them in plenty of other peoples signatures.

Are they "grandfathered in" until edited or am I just getting an error?
I went to update it a long time ago and got the same thing so I just left it as is.

Any particular reason for not allowing them if that is the case?

& is ampersand

...i suspect a policy change was instituted to reign in the spambot assault...

I just did it with the BOE in my sig, works fine. Are you typing the text, then highlighting, and using the hyperlink tool/button (world icon) above the box?

haha, yes it is. I'm gonna go out on a limb here and guess thats not the last time I'm wrong on something stupid.

I just tried to edit it and got the BB code not allowed. You indeed have special powers. Can you also change Choforia back to Chuforia

and maybe my "ampersand symbol" to "at symbol"

I'd call you my favorite but someone else that reads the board here would get mad at that.

OK...I'm practicing in mine, so I don't make yours worse.....spelling fixed, will fix @.....got it orange....on to 'bold'.....

You don't know how nuts it drives me. If have 28 orders on my desk I need to clear out before I can get a chance to update and it doesn't seem like stuff quits coming in. I have an Exige coming in this week to get done up. I'm quite embarrassed over my site. It has at best 10-20% of my work I've done on there, nothing about shirts, nothing about paint protection film, etc. I need to figure out how to make more hours in the day. I've been "next week" away from updating my site for as long as I can remember now.

Sounds like you need to stripe somebody's car for the service of having them update your page for you...

I'm sure there is somebody on the board that could hook it up...
