Is there a mobile version of the forums?

If there is, how do you access it?
If not, any plans to create one?

vBulletin, the software that powers this site, has limited mobile support available; just a mobile-optimized style sheet. The owners of this site would have to add them and customize them for the lotustalk branding. I would like to see what these styles look like before I judge them though. Given that such a large proportion of lotustalk's posts have high-res images, and not many threads would be useful without said images, I can imagine that it would be maddeningly slow to use on a cell network on a low-powered mobile device. The images would need to be resized on the server side when using mobile devices and style sheets simply can't do that.

FWIW, there is also an RSS feed on this site, it only shows the first post in each thread though: http://www.lotustalk.com/forums/external.php?type=rss2

I can use it just fine via my PocketPC. I typically run with photos off to speed up use and then turn them on when there's something i want to see.

I can browse the forums fine on my Samsung i760, but then again it cost me an arm and a leg compared to most phones.
I only wish I could get used to using Opera on it...since that's supposed to be the way to go.

I read it on an iPhone. Selecting some of the menu options can be a bit tough unless you zoom in a fair bit though or have very tiny fingers.

I use an HTC Mogul with windows mobile6 pro. It has a decent IE browser and as long as my eyesight does not get any worse I can almost read the posts on this forum

google has a good way of adapting websites to mobile phones.
all you have to do is prefix "www.google.com/gwt/n?u=" to the website you want to read.
for example I have "http://www.google.com/gwt/n?u=http:www.lotustalk.com" bookmarked on my palm centro

it resizes everything, including your pictures so everything looks good.
