I am glad they updated the graphic, from cars that will never be built, to cars which have actually been built! Kinda bummed me out to see pics of cars which will never be available.

When you look at the "active forums" web page, the graphic at the top of the screen has finally changed from the models which were supposed to come out (but won't, thanks Bahar), to a different graphic which has existing and previous Lotus cars.

I noticed the home page 'banner' change to Europa/Esprit/Elise. Wonder why the change.

They took down the 2013 Esprit image - isn't that still on the fence for coming out?

As you can read suggestions were asked for and we received ONE graphic...

your browser is pulling from its cache, just go in and delete your cookies/cache, or do a control+R and that should solve it!

IMHO, The banner is pretty hideous. Bad color, and angle choices for the images, and the green is just gross.

It is still better that the old one.
There was a request from the moderators in one of the original complaint threads about the banner where they asked for ideas.
And nobody did come up with any.
Everyone had their chance.

It is always easy to complain about something but it is much harder to come up with a real solution...

Oddly enough, I agree with Hello Kitty.
The banner went from irrelevant future cars to badly 'chopped images.
Roughly lassoed edges and compression artifacts all over.. No offense, but it's visually unpleasant.

The site Administrator's "Post up some cars that you want on the banner and we can get something designed. " gave me the impression that the design will be done in-house by the site operators and all we can do is 'post up some cars'.

There were already some request to hold a design contest, but that discussion didn't turn out so well, did it?

There is a tremendous pool of talent in the forum. If there had been an official nod for people to come up with a new graphic, I'm sure they would have.

I don't think the graphic is poorly edited, granted I'm viewing on a phone. Regardless it's a nice mix of cars and not just exliges!

Good call though, needed an update!

What can I say, I use a 40" monitor so small mistakes unseen by ~5" screen shows up as a pretty big flaws.
