Iceman, how did you insure with Progressive? They accepted it based on stated value?

Yes. I already had my 4 other cars with them for 5+ years, so this was just an addition. I have a stated value of $95K at present. Dean at Rossion also has a company they usually refer if asked with a gent called Chris. Great guys with great pricing.

Classicins.com was also insuring me for the required amounts at around $1300.

My car, now at 2000 miles, is covered through State Farm. I have full coverage, just like all my cars. The premium was determined by it's value.

Btw, now at 2000 miles the engine is just running great. Absolutely brutal. I'm slowly getting used to the acceleration under full throttle. I'm actually glad I'm not tracking it this year, I need to get used to it.

I read through many pages on nobleforums and one guy was able to insure his Noble M400 through USAA.

I called them yesterday and said they couldn't do it directly, but another company under USAA could. I'm not sure how its a different company, but I think its all under the USAA umbrella and was told it would be on the same policy. The # is 800-531-8883. I was told they take care of exotics, classics, specialty cars, etc.

Anyways, they took the info for the car (about 30 questions) and said it would cost $1.xx more per month than my elise. Yay! I didn't get this in writing or anything, plus I've been insured with them for 10 years, so YMMV (as it often does with insurance companies, "Well you also insure 2 other cars and your house with us, so we will make an exception and insure your kit car too to keep your business).

2500 miles now. My commute is entirely stop and go driving with zero highway miles and I still get 20 MPG in a 450 hp car that gets to 60 in just over 3 seconds. Amazing. My plates finally came in.
