Rossion Q1

Did a search, found nothing.

www.RossionQ1.com

Looks pretty neat. Also looks a bit like the Noble from certain angles, with the wing, if you ask me.

Because it is a Noble?

A Noble with a few enhancements.

Tempting for me.... I like it. $80k without a drivetrain.

dont' know the whole story but they bought the designs or something from Noble. So it is like the U.S. version of the noble. Randy probably knows much more than i do.

bah, i'm slow today

Been lurking the Rossian forum over on nobleforums. I like it, but I think I prefer a targa as my 2nd car. I drive with no top for most of the year

I really got used to going topless ! ( even when it gets down to 45 or so; I put the heat on & have the top down )....Don't know if I could ever go back to having a fun car that I couldn't take the top off of.

Same here. I've loved top down driving for a long time. The Fiat's top goes all the way down. I was concerned the Elise's targa top wouldn't give me enough of a convertible experience, but it turned out okay (partly due to the massive wind buffeting and partly the low-to-the ground nature of the car)...but I believe I'd forgive the hardtop of the Noble/Rossion if I had one. Just like I would a Ford GT...beautiful and undoubtedly a track monster.

I feel the same way. At times, I do miss the open top of the Elise. But each car has things that are positives and I don't mind the closed top... and many days (cold, hot, weather, long trips) I would rather have a closed top car.

Damn, now I feel like the "Dodge Electric Car" guy who referenced with a picture of an Exige instead of a Europa.

Oh well

I assume you've seen the Ford GTX-1? It's nowhere near breaking news, so I won't embarrass myself by trying to create a new thread.

Second picture really makes it look like a big Elise to me!

That car kind of looks like a Ford GT to me.

...i much prefer a targa to a full convertible - for me, it's the perfect blend between indoor comfort and outdoor liberation...

...not to diminish its performance, but the rossion (and noble) 's lines just don't do it for me; somehow it's too sedate-looking, too banal, too much like a generic passenger car in profile...maybe it's just that the forms are so blocky, but the interior leaves me with much the same impression: may as well be a mid-nineties accord...

Reader's Digest:

1G bought the Noble rights for the M12/M400. They have to rebadge the car though.

The Q1 is on the M400 chassis. The body panels are all redone to allow better aero and air flow. Other changes were incorporated based on M12/M400 owner feedback too.

I personally like the taillights, even though they are from a Hyundai.

Link in first post is dead, I assume you meant to link to Rossion – Performance Redefined?

Even the interior looks nice. Very well done.

Now, if only I could afford one.
