1. I don't care about the warranty
2. My past experience with superchargers and pulley upgrades is that the stock ECU can handle a decent boost.

Bruce,

Point taken on engine warranty - it is a nice thing, but I don't think that was a prime reason for the trade up to the S. I think the ability to turn the key and get 220hp (and even 240hp) reliably without debugging is a nice thing too.

Okay, the Exige S is just too much money as an upgrade (as many have said). Took a while for my head fight it out with my heart (which really wanted the Exige S ).

Anyway, seems LittleRocket will be building up a 2zz for my Elise

Littlerocket will do it right. I will bet you will end up liking the Elise more than the S.

We will pretty much do every thing we can to the motor sans stroking it.

Lightened rotating assbly, P&P, Thermal coatings, t/b, possibly custom intake manifold, pfc, valves, springs, retainers, custom exhaust, and a few hush hush things.

I am stoked. I will be delivering swap nuber 31 which is my last scheduled swap for 6 weeks!!!! I get to put my car back together. (it was in an accident in Feburary ops: )

Then I only have one 2zz-> spyderswap, 3 engine builds and this project on the books.

Edit: I think I have a pan to baffle too.

LittleRocket - I have the same interest for NA power for track use. How does this work for someone like sleepless who is not from your area? Do you build up an engine and ship it, expecting his engine in return, or do you rebuild his engine (thus his car is out of service longer)? Thanks

I have access to core motors for building to reduce down time. He is sending me his car for the install and some other mods.

I'm shipping my car to Littlerocket since he is also doing the tuning. The car will be gone for a couple of months (possibly a bit more including shipping); but in the Northewest, the Elise just sits in the shop waiting for Spring to arrive anyway. I think of it as Winter training

maybe / maybe not $15K - LR is going to try to keep the price down if he can.
