shameless plug

You know if you have a Power FC and Datalogit in your car, all you have to do to get this:

is mount a Tablet PC somewhere. It might work with an UMPC (the only reason I think it might not is the resolution should be 800 by 600 or better).

Ignore the onscreen keyboard at the bottom. I had to bring that up to do a print screen. It is a Windows program that has auto tuning, gauges, support for the digital interface of an LC-1 wideband, accurate speedometer, colored graphs, color-coded maps of fuel, ignition timing, and VVT-i, capability to view the maps in 3D, edit as you drive (change maps, change rev limit, change VVTL-i low and high RPMs, view and edit all kinds of other things), auto tune as you drive, launch control (2-step rev limit), data logging and replay (at different speeds), alarms for user-defined conditions (like injector duty > 90%... 10 others can be defined at the same time), automatic calculation of from-speed-to-speed times (like 0-60), a lateral G meter (shown, which also replays by the way, you need a $65 USB accelerometer for it to work), logging of GPS position/speed/heading (you need a USB GPS antenna for that), and a bunch of things I've surely forgotten. It is called Copilot and can be downloaded from here:

LATEST VERSION: http://www.mr-s.org/copilot/Copilot_1_2_1_Package.zip

USER'S GUIDE: http://www.mr-s.org/copilot/Copilot.doc

It is free, but we do accept donations.

I just got done adding another tab with some more gauges.

The bitmaps for the gauges can be changed to anything with the proper scaling. Just edit the BMP in the directory the program runs from. Example:

The data comes from the Power FC via a Datalogit (Power FC to PC interface). It would be really nice to see my software working in an Elise.

Any updates on your project?

the answer to the $15,000 power upgrade

Don has the answer with the Bemani set up--spectacular performance--elegant execution and TORQUE--with NO ecu issues.

Yes, the Bemani is a nice setup and it was indeed the "other" choice; I knew Don was bringing Bemani to the US before I chose Littlerocket's N/A route. If I hadn't preferred an N/A solution, it would have been Bemani for sure.

Man, I wish I was there. When you get tired of the wiring, just remember that, LittleRocket.

Just thinking about LR's house makes me want a margarita.

Dyno chart! Is there a breakin period before you can dyno?

The new motor needs to be built and installed before there is dyno. The PFC is running the current, stock motor.

It would be interesting to see what he could do with the stock motor and PFC.

This is an mr2 spyder with a 2zz swap done recently. Before is a bad exhaust and no tuning. After is a good exhaust and about 20 pulls. All the 2zzs are basically the same.
