The H20 injection and E-manage will be tackled Monday/Tuesday of this coming week. Hass sent over the wiring diagram for Auto Europe to review and use as a guide when connecting the E-manage.

So far things look great. Auto Europe has done a really nice job installing all the components. They are having some new oil lines fabricated instread of using the lines Jay supplied with the kit. There's nothing wrong with the Hass supplied lines however, I'm not a huge fan of clamps being used so we opted for fittings instead. It's a much cleaner look as well.

The gauges were mounted last week and look good. The Morosso pan will also be installed early next week. If all goes as planned the car will be on the road for test drives Thursday/Friday, weather permitting. Pictures will be posted Tuesday.

When the car is buttoned back together, can you normally access your damper reservoirs?[/quote]

Yes, it is a slick location for the reservoirs. All you have to do is reach under and adjust. This is a much better location then were Ohlins suggests you place them. Keeping in mind of course that Ohlins is probably not expecting you to take your clam off either.

That is a slick location. Is removing the clam the only way to place the reservoirs there? Removing the Ohlins for rebuilds every 1-2 years is a minor inconvience, but I couldn't imagine adding clam removal into the mix.

Thanks for the progress update and photos... there are probably more of us out there interested in the results than anyone realizes. Have contacted Jay via email with a question about ECU post upgrade, and he responded. Pending positive results, I am considering pulling my SY Elise out of the frozen tundra and having the turbo kit installed. Thx again!

And that is exactly why we send them bare ended. It's up to the end user to use the clamped ends or go ahead and purchase hard fittings. Either works and you can use the same stainless braided hose we supplied for that as well...it's the real deal and not the cheap stuff.

Looks good, glad to hear it's almost up and running.

As for boost and hp figures, keep in mind guys that there are a lot of variables such as cat/no cat, stock exhaust or 3" wide open, boost levels, size of water jet, pump gas or high octane, weather conditions at your location etc etc.

The power numbers we provided are after a long dyno session with optimal configuration for power production. That gives you and idea of what the kit is capable of producing, not a gaurantee of what your car will put down out of the box. It's the potential of what it can and has put down if you so choose to go there.

I'm confident in the power production, but I don't want to give any false claims if a guy goes out in 100* heat with a cat and stock exhaust and 91 octane and makes 235whp at 7psi and cry's wolf.

Thanks for the input Jay.

I'm impressed with the fit of all the components. You will be extremely happy with Auto Europe and the work they have done with my car. I look forward to checking on their progress tomorrow.

Auto Europe had an open house last Thusday and had my car on display for all to see. The nice thing was the rear clam was off so everyone could take a look at the turbo kit. There was a lot of questions being asked and your name came up several times. Great advertising.

Update

Sorry it's taken so long to post an update. Auto Europe is taking their time putting the turbo kit together. We agreed in the beginning that this would be our plan of attack. I took some new pictures that I would like to share. The turbo should be good to go by the end of the week. I'll take some new pictures before the clam is put on. In the meantime, here are some better shots of the progress:

Sorry this is a bit offtopic questions is directed towards Mr Hass.
Do you or would you sell your turbo manifolds seperatly from your kit kinda like on other applications you offer? Or do you only sell the kit as a whole?

edit:

also would you sell the whole kit without the emanage?

Yes to both. Best bet is to give a call to Keely and we can give you pricing on either option.

Indeed! Good catch.

Edit: Just caught something else in the pictures. Be sure to remove the hose from the valve cover to the TB pre throttle plate. It's the one two hoses towards the inside of the valve cover and the hose that connects to the left of the TB in the pictures and not the right or post throttle blade. We sent along a cap for the nipple left on the TB, just take the hose and route it open air.

If you don't do this, you will pressurize the crank case and all kinds of smoke and oil goes into the exhaust and intake tract.

Thanks Jay. A/E is aware of this change. Here are some newer pictures of the install, the hose has not been changed yet. The E-manage is in the process of being hooked up, hence the spaghetti all over the place. Should be up and running next week

Would it be possible to just have an E-Manage plug-n-play harness that plugs in between the stock ECU and engine harness? That would be a LOT easier and would allow a cleaner "reversal" to stock just in case...

Yea that would be great...I can offer that for most cars we offer kits for but... Hydra is having problems getting the female ECU plugs for the EFI unit so I'm not sure how easy they are to get and that's the buggaboo for making a PNP harness.

http://www.autosportwiring.com is the company we normally use for PNP harnesses. I'll shoot them an email and find out what the possibility is.

The cost difference would be about $300 in the kit as the harness cost about $200.00 and then we have to spend about an hour wiring the Emanage into the breakout harness and getting all that squared away so you just plug and plop in your car.

Yea but Jay how long does it take to hook up each individual wire standing next to the car while soldering connections. IMHO that $300 is definitely worth while.

Ditto on that - I remember having my head crammed down way under the passenger's leg compartment soldering dozens and dozens of wires for all the mods/ecu/vafc/guages/etc. on my old delSol VTEC. I'm too old for that crap!
