Clutch problem?!?

So I did a burnout earlier, right after I was getting onto the highway and I heard a few "clanking" sounds, not real loud but sounded like something was rattling around for a second.

Then it got REAL hard to shift, felt like my clutch wasn't engaging at all. I was able to force it into gear finally. I pulled over at the next exit, turned the car off - pumped the clutch a few times, tried putting it into reverse - it went in but ground a bit so I turned it off again.

Started it back up and now it's going into each gear fine, downshifts with no problem.... Im waiting for traffic to die down a bit to test it out a bit more.

Any thoughts on what happened?

Simply put, it's their car and they can do as they please with it. They can try to pull a 10,000lb trailer if they wanted to, it's their investment.

As for doing a burnout, you should already know that it's rough on any vehicle and can potentially damage the car. Don't do the crime if you can't do the time.
