Driver's side engine mount

Anyone have tips on removing this mount? It's driving me crazy.

I can't get the horizontal bolt to budge.

Take out all of the junk around the mount. With a big open space it makes it a lot easier to work in there and allows for larger tools.

Ok, same bolt, different problem.

So I got the mount out after making some room and the new mount is in place, but I can't get the mount to line up with the carrier in order to get the long bolt through.

I have the engine supported with a jack, but the holes on the mount are still sitting a lot higher than the holes on the carrier. Is there some secret to getting the holes to line up?
