Go to the toyota site and sign up for a membership. You can download the shop manuals for the 2005 Celica GTS which has the same engine & gearbox. It's inexpensive, around $25 or so.

![]() Seriously - $25 for the complete manual is a bargain. They are entitled to make their small profit. It beats the hundreds of bucks I've had to spend to buy manuals for other cars (last set of manuals I bought was over $500 for the whole set). I'll take a legal $25 manual anyday...

In the Ferrari 308 world, someone has PDF'd the workshop manuals and they sell them on CD's on eBay for next to nothing, plus I think you can find them for free on the web if you google it and look around a bit.
I presumed the same would be true for the Toyota 2ZZ GE, but apparently not the case. I agree, would gladly pay the $25 as well, but most companies gladly put their manuals out on PDF and hope people don't call them with annoying questions. Can't one of you guys have your secretary scan it to PDF and post it here on Lotus talk? ![]() |
