Has anyone bought a Ragnorack Racing "Power Package" like the 230RR?

I've been surfing around looking at lots and lots of Elise/Exige related sites and parts available. I'm looking for solutions that don't require me to ship my car anywhere, since I'm on the East coast.

I came across Ragnorack Racing and they have a page of Power Packages listed. They have a 230 Hp package that consists of cams, ported intake manifold, throttle body, CAI, headers, and ECU reflash.

1. That seems like a lot of power to get out of those mods. Is that realistic? I know with some headers, or sport cats, etc. you can pick up a nice bump in power but my understanding was that once you start combining mods it is not necessarily "additive" i.e. diminishing returns.

2. Are these packages actually available? Availability says TBA but it allows you to add it to your shopping cart on the site.

The 215 Hp package consits of "Ecu Reflash, Thor Body, Ported Intake Manifold, Intake Manifold Gasket, Thunder Box. " and is only $1575, which seems like a good deal for a 25 Hp gain. Anyone installed one of these and have dyno results?

I think cams, mufflers, throttle bodies, and airbox are what they have available at this time.

A few people have the throttle body and seem to like it, it produces around 4 hp at the most. As for the intake, most people have found that the ECU learns what is going on and pulls timing and makes a high air fuel ratio. There is no dyno testing on any of the RR parts only an old one from when Brett used to work at forcedfed regarding the intake. It shows what everyone else seems to get, around a 10 hp gain. As for the other things, be skeptical, the ECU learning seems to negate a lot of mods that are out there. IF the flash is properly done, it would make a huge difference, but that is a big IF, and remmeber that it is a mail in flash, so there is no way it is optimized. I wish some of those parts were available and had before and after dynos and even better would be 1 month after install to see how much the ECU has changed everything.

I have some of the items and will be installing some more soon. I am used to my car, so my butt dyno does not mean much. On the other hand, those that drove my car at the last Club111 Car Control day mentioned how my car had a much better throttle response and more power.

I will do some dyno work once I get a few other pieces in place. We are scrambling to try to get some things done by next week before I drive off to Denver.

hmmmm....i guess thats a no?

keith, i never look at newcelica.com, but are u sure you are not confusing RAGNOROKS cams with PIPERS cams?

i know pipers cams are available, and after the fiasco i went through trying to get RAGNOROKS last feb/march, i decided to go in a different direction.
i know chase was supposed to get RAGNOROKS set of cams. mine never materialized and i wondered if chase ever got his and installed them etc or what.
if info has been posted on RAGNOROKS cams i guess ive missed it. otherwise i guess its not info to be shared.
