This whole mess is a shame and a blow to the Elisetalk community. I'm afraid that both parties will lose in the end. After reading all the posts available until it was removed, I still have no ill feelings or distrust in Mr. Hass. Just my 2 Cents(which nobody asked for). I wish them both the best!

Bummer, I still had 2 pages to go. It was like a steamy romance novel- uhmmm with no romance (and I'm not into that kind of thing anyway). Shoot, now I might have to actually get some work done.
I can't believe it went that long. Had to be the fastest growing thread since "Prety girls with elise". I couldn't even keep up. |

The biggest news of 2006. [Really: I'm just being a dork. There's no factory supercharger. Just an urban legend. Carry on.]As for way it was removed, if/when a law suit starts, I can see Elisetalk's attorney wanting to limit Elisetalk's involvement in the lawsuit. Attorneys' cost money and if they told Elisetalk to take down the thread, that in itself probably costed Elisetalk atleast $100 in legal fees. If Elisetalk is dragged into a law suit AS A WITNESS, it will cost more in attorney fees. Last edited by Allan Gibbs : 07-19-2006 at 02:05 PM. |

Keep in mind, EliseTalk has nothing to gain, and everything to lose, by getting involved in any sort of a legal dispute.

Scottyb,
I feel your frustration and initially appreciated hearing about your experience. IMO, the thread was turning into a Rocky slugfest between you and Hass. You guys need to try to work it out in person or if that doesn't work in a court of law (taking into account the costs and uncertainty of this). I suggest the former. I don't know about ET liability but I think Randy may have been doing the two of you a favor by ending the thread (eventhough you may think otherwise). Best of luck with all this. Lawyers. Like the new boogieman for adults. lol. Everyone is s#it scared of them.
I think the only way to take the heat off all the other offshoot threads, the only way to significantly distract the masses- is to re-open the "prety girls" thread. lol. ( oke) |

Removal of Scotty's thread....
a grave disservice !!
If assisting in covering up the problems with Hass Turbo's negligence leads to someone getting hurt....this may get worse. Very sorry things came to this on an "open forum" Also, very funny that "legal counsel" advised you to shut it down right after Jays post. |
