The claims are obviously bogus, but I wonder, just what is it actually designed to *do*? It has only two wires to connect, so how would those be connected to perform any real function? Is this just a booster for your ignition coil (wired in parallel)?

I love how this says their product will reduce oil consumption. I thought I'd heard it all...

I thought the engine in the Elise has four "coils" attached to each spark plug. In any case, this appears to be connected to the air flow meter (whatever type we have) and changes the value - most probably makes it run rich under "boost"...

I wonder how much snake oil you have to add to make it operate after it's installed...

it probably sends electrical charges into the headlight fluid changing the chemical properties of it and turning it into NOS!!!!

Maybe, but if they were smart they'd wire into into the flux capacitor and create a bubble in the space-time continuum around the car, such that your time relative to the rest of the world is accelerated, thus your 0-60 of 5 seconds appears like 2 seconds to observers. Pretty simple, really.
