I doubt the box pictured is the actual 'radiator'. Usually an A/W system has a intercooler core if you will (the silver box in the picture) which is hooked up to an auxillary radiator in the front of the car. An inline waterpump circulates the water through the system. It is a closed loop not connected to the engine coolant system. This looks like an aftercooler by the way, meaning its after the s/c. Why run big pipes for an air/air system when you can run small water lines and also not get a pressure drop across the system? Boost is at a premium with the s/c, not like you can just crank the boost controller.
