Quick question for anyone who knows.... Since I'm swapping in a K24A2 and using a tranny from a 2006 Civic Si (K20z3 + 6sp + helical LSD) I wasn't quite sure which flywheel to source. Of course the flywheel bolts engine-side, but was wondering if there was gonna be any issues with fitting in the bell housing if I got one that was specific to the K24A2. Any help?

I'm sure the crank bolt pattern is the same and since you are running a k20z3 trans the safest thing is to order a clutch for a 2006 civic si

No front mount for me either.
FWIW I haven't had any issues without it. I wouldn't worry much.

Hmm, im trying to toss up which kit I should get for a K24 swap into an early S2. Wiring and fuel system i prefer to do myself.
So far my options are: -Stark - Seems good quality, James is superquick to respond to emails. Prices are fair (5500AUD delivered to aus, plus import tax) -Hondaelise - Useless with emails, like completely useless. I had to call to get any response, but they seemed helpful. Prices are very cheap for some reason. -Sunspeed - There is a local reseller here in Sydney, kit quality by far appears to be best. Bonus of local support and no need to pay any import tax etc. Downside is it seems very expensive in comparison. Driveshafts are $1300aud alone, mounts 1200. Full kit excluding wiring/cooling gear/fuel gear is $6800aud. Any tips from anyone else? Can the heater hoses/piping be made up easy enough? Hope this isnt a thread highjack! |

Check out the innovative mount website
Heater hoses are no problem you can go with steel or nylon braided hose or just regular heater hose Sent from AutoGuide.com Free App

already emailed innovative, their mounts are strictly only tested on the toyota engine swaps. So they said they will in the future look at the rover, but havent started yet. I have used innovative previously on a honda, i love their mounts

I had a radium one, but decided to take it out . I ended up putting in some trap doors from fuel safe and baffles in the stock tank. Used an innovative fuel plate for feed and return.
