Discussion of installation cost here:

SS legal LSD upgrade - again

Bottom line: it's not easy or cheap.

Is it easy or cheap for non SS legal upgrade? As in buy a factory toyota LSD tranny? The taller 6th would be welcome anyways...

I decided to get the Quaife from MWR. Its on sale right now for $995. I also got an ACT HDSS clutch ($400) and Fidanza flywheel ($300).

It looks like it won't be that terribly huge of a job. I found a shop that said they can install everything for $1000.

I may have them install the LETSLA while they have the transmission off.

I'm not SS legal anymore. I run in XP. Altought technically I could run in SSM.

How did it all go? I might be looking at the exact same process, unfortunately...

ATB diffs such as a Quaife are good for the street but not ideal for auto-cross or track. Plate LSD are what you a looking for such as an OS Giken (which we carry).
