monkeywrench
looks like they are giving about 35ish hp for their engine rebuild, which is expected with that sort of thing, but they're getting the garret in there which should be good for 100hp, should be about a month or so before its available. seems like a pretty decent price though
i'm still waiting on to see whats going on, shop likes superchargers, honda engine looks good less torquey, acura engine seems indestructible (heard rumours of acura engine in elise) |

I sent them an email a month ago about their stroker kit and the gentleman responded the engine was making no more horsepower than stock, which I found very strange. It was a very short indescript email that indirectly informed me they weren't interested in a sale. |

You guys may remember that Monkeywrench was looking for someone to use their car for the development of the supercharger a while back. MeanTT was the original guy who was going to do it but his car was delayed and he ended up not doing the deal. I wonder if they ever got another car.

I was driving home tonight (I pass right by Monkeywrench) and I see a yellow Elise out front. I believe it was 1FASTMX5. I stopped and talked to him and Matt for a bit. He is getting the turbo installed starting today. It should take about 2 months.
