I've seen some type of rubber plug for the oil pan that is used if you strip the pan threads. It goes into place, then expands like a little bulb. Maybe they have something like that...and maybe it would fit. Good luck.
Meanwhile, I'll check the AutoZone website. |

Don't kill me for suggesting this but why don't you look for it! surely it came off where you started to loose oil! Hopefully the track is closed or will be shortly and hopefully you will be fortunate enough to find it without enough damage to reuse it temporarily. The only reason I suggest this is I found a lost oil bolt at the track before for a fellow driver!
GOOD LUCK!

If Randy's right, and my gut tells me he is, then a 24mm socket would drive a M16 bolt. Standard pitch on that is 2mm, though I'm doubtful that this applications uses that. It'd probably be 1.5mm pitch.

One of those rubber expansion type freeze plugs oughta get you home. And even a cork will get you close, good excuse for a bottle of Pinot Noir!
Best of luck. And I agree, unless that track has a black hole, it's gotta be out there somewhere. Aloha, Thomas Praetzel ![]() |

okay guys, now home.. what I ended up doing (take good notes
) was sticking my finger in the drain hole to measure the thread size.. went to Oreilly's and bought two drain plugs.. turns out our bolt size is a M18 x1.5.. the reason why I made the huge font and bold lettering is for anybody else this happens to can find it with ease.. Hopefully this will help others.. Of course I'm getting an oem one on Monday.. |
