Hey guys
I spent the better part of the day driving to and from Philadelphia area (where PES is located) and fortunately, I did not end up in someone's vegetable garden! The car is fast. But not fast enough Anxiously awaiting the stage 2 power kit!!!I feel like I am gonna need a new clutch in a week or two!

Does PES do individual tuning? I'm planning on getting headers, cat, exhaust, and intake next, just needed a tuning solution. |

Yep, they do. They asked me to tell people that. They did customized tune on my car, but unfortunately utilizing the stock parts, so I have these great exhaust systems and intakes just sitting around until I bother to get another tune Quote:
Sorry, I didn't mean there's anything wrong with the kit or that it's slow. It's fast!!! I just want MORE!!!!! Because I'm a power whore now...The only place I would say it's not fast is at low revs in high gears, which is to be expected. The car is basically making no power there anyways. But at low revs in lower gears it revs up quite well. The lower cam change is something I really need to adjust to... ![]()

On step 115, you jump to 138a. Why can't a find the 13mm throttle adapter casting? Is it on the drivers side somewhere?
Forget it, I found it, it's on the supercharger plenum.

Chotto - That step was moved to 138a, do not skip ahead to it. I have a feeling that they did not want to renumber 70 steps so they just noted that it would come later in the install.

Hi Folks,
I am going to be in Europe leaving this evening returning on Oct 29th. Lots of vendor/customer meetings etc. Thus if there is a delay in answering an e-mail, post or return a phone call, that is why. I will try to stay on top of posts and e-mail in the evening, but the schedule is 1 country per day, so it may not be possible. Cheers!

Are there any little tricks to get the alternator to slide in to its new position besides the bushing?

I dremeled the spacer slightly and lubricated it, but it was still a very tight fit.
Not sure if others would approve of this, but for my specific install, it was impossible to put it in without doing so. |

My car is alive and running. Only logged 8 miles so far but all is well. The rpm's are dancing around at idle from about 600 to 1300 rpms. The exhaust sounds deeper and I can already tell a nice increase in torque without even really getting on it.

I am dying! I have been halfway through my install for a few weeks now. Just buried at work. Missed a track day I hoped to use the SC'd beast on for the first time. Still working! I hate you all!!!!!

How do you bolt down the middle nut that attaches the supercharger to the head? I can kind of get an open ended wrench in there, but forget about the torque wrench.

How to tighten the center nut
I bought an extra wrench that has a round and open end. Put the round end in a vise, and bent it really close to the round end. Put about an 80* bend in it. It works like an offset socket wrench.
To tighten the nut, put the round end over the nut with the open end up in the air. Use a crescent wrench sideways at the top to rotate the bent wrench. You will have to rely on feel to torque this one properly. A good way to torque a similar amount as the other nuts is to move your hand on the handle away from the head of the crescent wrench about as far as you did with the torque wrench. Apply a similar force with the similarly length lever. Hope that helps.

I used an extention for my torque wrench. It looks like a regular open end wrench, but the other end attaches to the torque wrench. If you want to get the exact torque, make sure you calculate the length of the extention and adjust the torque wrench accordingly. I forgot the formula but i'm sure someone here knows it

There might be a need for an official BWR tool list thread. Might be helpful.
