Obviously, any water injection kit lowers the intake's air temperaature.

However,
lower air temperature = more dense air = ability to inject more fuel = more power @ lower engine temps!

Have you done any dyno runs to check what the gains are on the power & torque scale?

At the dyno with stock ECU we can get the system to show about +2 HP, but that can easily be attributed to measurement error. The next time I'm at the dyno we may try to tweak parameters to see if there are any gains to be had. The primary purpose on my car is to decrease IATs and as an extra safety margin against detonation.

RLS is introducing a new system, also manufactured for us by ERL (the makers of Aquamist). The new system will be in the $xxx area and do most of what the original system did.

I've been running the original RLS system on my car for several thousand miles, and the pistons and valves look truly unbelievable. I'll post photos from the digital borescope in the new thread. Staytuned.
