That would be great Dusty... think those of us that had significant fitment issues will get updated U bend parts in the near future too???

Yes, why was that thread deleted?

It had pages and pages of information about this header, and dyno results! That thread also had my detailed experience with the U-bend problem, and how I muscled everything together-

Anyway, Dusty, if the geometry of the "U" is indeed corrected, I would very much like to replace this part of the assembly (2 to 1 tube) on my car-

Thanks!

I really like the new sound. My butt dyno records an increase in HP. I'll know for sure this Friday.

It's funny about the "missing" thread. I swore up and down I read something about the u-bend problem but couldn't find it anywhere. Good to know I'm not totally losing it.

Ask a vendor, or create an interest thread of your own and get a decent amount of people (20+) who would be down to buy this cost efficient $300 header, and maybe that will be enough motivation for Weapon R to dust off the shorty header design and put it into production again. Whether you do it, or you ask a vendor to put together an interest thread, it's worth a shot. I don't see why they wouldn't make them again if they were able to come off with a decent profit.

If I posted about this header when it first came out for Celicas around the time everybody jumped on the Celica GTS PPE race header bandwagon, this wouldn't have been a problem. Sorry guys.

I wanted my Lotus Elise buddy to be the first Lotus to try out this header, then see if it really makes gains or not on a Lotus. I'm already slated to get my buddy's more top end friendly Boosted2.0 ported stock header in September, so I doubt I'll get this in between my transition to a PPE race header upgrade.

Good luck guys!

I just bought the Weapon R Race Header a couple days ago. What should I tell my dealer specifically on how to install this besides, "there may be some fitment issues" haha. Do you think this will fit on my Larini Decat or am I going to have to use the weapon R one that comes with it?

Your de-cat is no longer needed / used. You may need a custom exhaust shop to make it fit. Cut and weld required. Some serious torch work at the very least.
