Yoshimura for Toyota motor?

Does anybody know if Yoshimura is planning to build an exhaust system for the Toy motor? I know that they offered a system for the Rover motor and they build good motorcycle systems.

Why Titanium?

Why are you interested in Ti exhaust equipment?

If it’s for reducing weight you’ll find other possibilities, which are much cheaper.

Referring weight reduction concentrate on rotating and unsprung masses.

Thin and light exhaust piping not( not only in Ti but also in inox steel alloys ) may cause rather unpleasant acoustic effects.

Do you have a Ti system? Or an Elise? Have you heard the Ti systems?

I know that Yosh makes good performing motorcycle exhausts and I was curious if there might be one more exhaust option available.

Our partners in Japan requested that Yoshimura make an exhaust for the Toyota car but the minimum volume requirements were too high. So no Yosh system exists for our car.

Our Arqray systems, soon to be available in Ti or SS, are a great alternative. They definately sound more like a motorcycle than the other exhaust options that exist. The Ti solution below weighs 9lbs.

if u ever read the motorcycle magazines when they have an exhaust shootout, where they test like 15 exhausts on the same bike, the yosh pipes usually finish around mid pack.....im not so impressed.

Hi Shinoo,

Do you have any information for Argray SS twin as dyno chart, wav, and sound level?

Thanks,

Lots of different tyres and wheels at the track. Those are Dunlop 02G tyres. The old ones were Yoko A038 SS tyres.

My buddy's 2001 GSXR 1000 got 153 rwhp [up from 145rwhp] with just a Yoshimura Tri oval slip on and a little A/F tuning. That doesn't sound too shabby to me.
