2011 Elise Belly Pan

Is the 2011 Elise belly pan factory coated? If not, does it make sense to coat it and what with...

Thanks

Most of the aluminum under my 2011 Elise SC is bare, just like the previous years' models I have seen. The diffuser and the tray under the engine are painted black.

My undertray and diffuser are also bare. It might be a SC vs. R thing.
