Not 100% sure, but 110k miles and they are still good. IIRC correctly Phil told me back when I bought the car that if they hadn't gone yet they wont. I got a "good set". Either that or they were already replaced.

Ill be sure to check them regardless.

Its a pretty important thing to be sure about. I found a small leak from my fitting, not from the crimp but from between the hex fitting and the small pipe it attaches to. Turns out there is a small rubber o-ring that is supposed to go in there. They are very small and fall out easily. I'm guessing it never made it in my car at the factory.

Little more progress tonight. Drained and pulled the stock rad out. Bent it to get the bolts out easier.

BOE unit will be going in to replace it.

May pull the brake calipers off this weekend and drop them to get blasted and coated.

I think this one is way funnier than the RICER plate which fit better on the S2k.

800x better than 'Ricer' but I'd be concerned about the attention a plate like that can draw. I'd be worried about people messing with my car.

New keyless Entry arrived, will be installing that sometime.

Tonight I stripped the interior and prepped for rear clam removal.

Rear clam is off. Took myself and a friend about 90min with hand tools. not too bad.

Its just a thought for now. Will have to see. Firebelly orange was at the top, however I dont really like orange. I have always been a Matte Black fan but its quite played out. THe Matte white stains badly. Im not to fond of the other collors.

More progress. Pulled the front and rear rotors and front calipers tonight. Having the front rotors turned, and the rears replaced with drilled rotors. Front Calipers will be blasted and powdercoated. Rear calipers will be wire brished and painted.

I didn't think you could turn drilled rotors, but I guess it would just be the same process as non drilled. I haven't seen someone turn rotors in about 5 years, we don't even have a brake lathe at the shop at work. Just replace em all!

May not have to turn the entire surface. Just knocking the "lip" off the edge.

it might be a good time to bite the bullet and upgrade the brakes altogether. Sector and BOE have some options. I was never really impressed with the brakes on the Elise, but just my .02.
