Yea i just called tim last week, he said the ac is getting done but no real rush for it yet. On a side note if you guys have k series ecu's, luke at thmotorsports hooks it up with kpro for 575 shipped back to you. Also, heads up, z3 trans all have lsd and innocative makes shift linkage for these as well, you will need a speed sensor off an 02-04 low frequency setup or a speed converter box if you use the high frequency vss

Its probably best that you waited this long to do it. Getting parts from Tim has been a chore. I hear he has everything on the shelf now so that should finally be sorted out. He has been promising the A/C bracket for...oh...about 6+ mos now, maybe more. So like others have said, it will get sorted eventually. Hope he has the axle sizing sorted by now, some of the earlier kits had fitment issues including mine. I still haven't figured out a good way to make the shifting more solid and after reading that is a common problem. Hytech makes a gorgeous, but expensive header for the swap. Worth the money in my opinion. And as Exiged mentioned, getting burnt on used parts sucks, be careful what you buy used and from whom. They pretty much covered everything else. Money wise, if I would have it to do over again I would have fully built and turboed the 2zz, would have had enough $$$ left over to do suspension and transmission work for what I am into my swap. I did go with the Type R which drove the price up more than a normal K20 though.

no sir, the shop i order through might get a hondata discount. im still unsure if ill need the dash converter because im using a koso bike cluster modified to fit the stock bezel

Fwiw while the z3 trans does have an LSD... IIRC the LSD is known to be fragile so I wouldn't be doing hard launches or anything on it. Should be okay for road racing though.
Also 575 is stupid (almost questionably so) cheap for a kpro! Which version are they selling for 575?

can somebody measure the distance from the their valve cover to the trunk, and also how high the motor sits in relation to both the lower and higher portion of the trunk tub? i appreciate it greatly, thanks!
