Can We Have This Elise S Engine "Plastic" Cover?

Because I daily drive the Elise, and with every time when the rain starts, I get annoyed in the back of my head with water and the exposed engine (despite the other threads said it's ok). I have looked in a plastic cover very much like ones found in BMWs and other newer modern cars.

I have seen similar ones on 1.6 liter engine models. Lately, I've discovered this on a series-3 Elise S. Does anyone know if we can have this installed on other models with 2ZZ engine? And if any extra modifications may required?

Thanks,

Sam

You can drive an Elise in the rain!?! Oh, maybe with different tires it would be ok. :shift:

I drove my elise and parked it in the pouring rain, the kind where you can't see 50 feet in front of you (my florida people understand).

Next day I had a cylinder misfire. I replaced all 4 plugs, no dice. Next I replaced all 4 coils and that fixed the issue. Fortunately, you can buy a pack of 4 on ebay for ~$65 iirc.

I don't drive in anything more than very light rain anymore.
