look at base of battery cover and you will see two black tabs which are snaps...pull up carpet (ie unsnap the snaps) and you will see a torx screw..take off and cover pulls right off...

Well...I beg to differ but the bolt is for the battery hold down. Just yank up the carpet and then reach behind the cover and unhook it from the left rear of the battery while working the side you can see with the other hand. The cover is retained only by the two carpet snaps and the far corner clip. |
