Ok, the ordeal with my splitter is finally over and I got it put on so I can finally post pics. After mine came in damaged with a hole in it right in the center and the finish all scuffed up in multiple places, I ended up having to take it to a body shop to fix it before I could put it on. Pics of how it arrived:

Very well packaged (bubble wrap, a couple cardboard layers, and another layer of bubble wrap):

Obviously I couldn't put it on like this, hence why I had to take it to get fixed.

Finally got it back today and installed it:






Fit is pretty good. Didn't have any fitting issues. I only used 2 of the bolts/nuts that came with the splitter because they are incredibly long and the washers were too small for my taste. I bought 4 bolts/nylock nuts and 6 washers and used those. So I used 6 total bolts. Here you can see some of the spots where I mounted it. (you can also see that I did the door edge trim on the lower edge to protect it)

Drew I would have been more than happy to swap that one for the new one but Im glad everything worked out. Im still going to talk to fedex and see why they only gave you a partial refund.

Has anyone else had any issues, with splitters arriving scuffed?

Dang, i just received a new splitter...for my Elise, except it is the one that fits an Exige! Crap.
So while i am trying to return that one, i am looking for one for an ELISE.
