Totaled by demented old lady

Aboout a month ago I lost my 05 Elise to a demented old woman. I was at a stop sign in a residential neighborhood when this slow moving car approached the intersection and then turned left and literally drove over my head. Lotus totaled and I can't even go after her. (Talked to 2 of the biggest PI lawyers in the Tyler, TX area). So I will post the VIN on the talk board. I have 2 custom car king covers that are metallic reflective for anyone who wants them. A set of motor mount inserts that were not yet installed from Sector 111 for half price. A "nightfall blue metallic" hard top (from the factory) for best price and shipping. And a brand new wiper blade to whoever wants it. (a goodyear assurance premium blade 24").
This is the first I have been able to alk about it or post pics. Still grieving. You guys on the LTB are the greatest people I have been ale to associate with. I had the car 3 years and put over 40K miles on it.

Crazy stuff. Good to see you're ok. 4-5 inches over and you'd be dealing with a splitting headache. Sorry to see this.

OMG I can't believe that an experienced Lotus Driver such as yourself would drive under a car like that!
On another tack, I would have freaked out on someone that gave me any grief after doing that to one of my cars. Hats off to you for not getting arrested for going midevil on her a$$.
So sorry it happened to you.

That is just crazy! I am always dodging old fogies here in sw fl.

Think about the last couple of months ... we have lost quite a few lotus elise's ... pretty soon you'll have a better chance of a super model asking for a one night stand than finding a clean lotus elise!
