I have to say my current red/tan Elise seems to garner more attention with the traditional exotic car colors people come to expect, at least in the past. Young folk probably look for flat black or dubstep green.

I was expecting to see the Chrysler 300 on here.

I agree they are both number one, the expensive looking interior and exterior...

I believe Katt Williams has something to say about that:

10 Cheapest Cars that Make You Look rich (Jalopnik)

I knew my car would get attention when I bought it, but I honestly never thought it would make me look rich. I guess because I know the monetary value of my car that it never occurred to me others wouldn't. Also, I almost never see super cars so I it didn't cross my mind that people could see my little Exige and mistake it for one.

Either way, it's hilarious and now that I've lived it, I can't disagree. You can get a nice looking salvage Elise for half of a nice SUV. I can appreciate nice SUVs... but they're so damn expensive!

The article states what we know and live when driving our Elise.
The irony is that virtually noone owns an Elise to look rich, but rather own it for its driving experience.

I just reread this and was like "wait, what?" Is dubstep green like green with that extra WHOMP?
