Is 2 Lotus Too Many For A Commute???

Had a visitor/forum member stop by the garage today for the commute to work.

Things we learned:
-Chrome Orange attracts more attention than Starlight Black
-2 Lotus attracts more attention than 1. It requires pedestrians to do a "double" neck snap.
-Sometimes people just don't feel like moving even if there is more than enough room for 3 Lotus across to fit past a parked car.
-Seeing an Exige in front of you or in your rear view at 8:30 am is a good thing any day of the week.
-Having a neighbor with a Lotus is awesome.
-Having a neighbor with a Lotus who also works adjacent to you is awesome.

*Warning nothing toooo special happens here other than seeing one Lotus from another*

from my experiences with driving in groups many times from 2-20 cars, the first car always got the most attention, this held true even if it was a black car...not sure why...

Ha that was what we were thinking when at a redlight. I'm going to lead the way through a different route later this week. So we'll test that theory out.

I posted another clip so you could hear more exhaust/intake combo on my car:

Nice use of the camera mount. If you want you can borrow my vacuum cup mount for the outside car shot.

If you thought that was cool you should of came to LOG29. It was even cooler with 200 Lotus cars led by a Police escort in their seized Porsche as well as a small fleet of Lamborghini's and a couple Rossions.

Then taking a group of Lotus and a Rossion 5 hours away to run the tail of the dragon after LOG was over.

I always wondered how people get police escorts. Memorial Day wkend they blocked off a major highway for the "Rolling Thunder" crew (bunch of motorcycles) and they had A LOT of police escorts.

You just pay them.

It's funny how once you pay the police there are no laws. Whatever speed you want to drive, go through all the red lights, etc.

What he said. ^^^ It was a blast at extra-legal speeds caravanning to the Barber Motorsports Park for the concours on Saturday. BTW, for all those who weren't there, what's your excuse? You missed a fantastic event.

It was great to meet Keith (and many others). And Keith's pet model at the track, too.

^^^ That was Jim Navarro's (from the Lotus Challenge Series) model. He just gave her one of my shirts. lol.

I'm doing a charity event tomorrow in the car with another police escort. Should be fun!
