2 quick questions
I know, I know do a search.
#1) My warrenty expires in May, should I take it in to the dealer for a check over? Would they actually go over the car looking for things to fix under warrenty or am I just smoking crack? The dealer would be symbolic in la Jolla or possible newport. #2) I am not the best detailer guy but I can wash, claybar and wax. I have never had a car with starshield? do you claybar and wax & buff over the starshield or just leave it washed?????? TIA

1. Yes do it - Dealers get paid for warranty work so it serves them to find problems.
2. Adam's sells a cleaner for Starshield and it works well. You can wash & wax it also - but no claybar or polish with an abrasive. Also - before your warranty expires make sure you do not have wear issues with the cams. Do a search for info. Also Also - any grinding in the transmission?

Here is one of many threads -
Cam Rocker Arm Wear Update Unfortunately, I have not seen a thread on how to do this exactly - maybe someone else has?
